Our home projects consist of major repairs for residents who cannot afford to maintain their homes in a safe and healthy fashion. We use an evidence-based National Healthy Housing Standard to conduct home assessments and develop scopes of work that ensure the most important repair needs are met.

Rebuilding Together NYC provides accessibility upgrades for low-income elderly and/or disabled veterans or recipients of Medicaid, so that they may remain in their homes or return from institutional care. Modifications include wheelchair ramps and lifts, stair glides, handrails, grab bars, and ADA compliant bathrooms.

Our Community Center Renovations program helps nonprofits better serve their members, encourages residents to invest in their neighborhoods, and makes New York City communities safer, healthier, and more vibrant. Project examples include interior community center renovations, murals, landscaping, construction of raised beds, and more.
