Rebuild Center

The Rebuild Center is a nonprofit retailer, selling gently used building materials and appliances. When we rebuild and, where possible, we divert salvageable materials from the waste stream.

RT NYC Rebuild Center is a nonprofit retailer, housing gently used building materials and appliances. Rebuilding Together NYC is dedicated to building strong, sustainable communities. In doing so, we consider a variety of environmental priorities when we conduct our rebuild work and, where possible, divert all salvageable materials from the waste stream.

Rebuilding Together NYC opened the Rebuild Center in 2015. The initial stock of building materials and home appliances were pulled by participants in the Workforce Training Program from homes on Staten Island that were slated for demolition. Today, the Rebuild Center continues to house materials salvaged from homes as well as public and private donations.

Interested buyers are welcome to visit our warehouse in Gowanus, Brooklyn to view the products before purchase.

The Rebuild Center's regular inventory includes:

  • Pedestal Sinks
  • Toilets
  • Ovens
  • Dishwashers
  • Kitchen Cabinets
  • Granite Counter tops
