RTNYC’s Housing Preservation Program supports eligible New Yorkers improve the safety and health of their homes through three initiatives: Critical Home Repair, Accessibility Modifications and our latest initiative Rebuilding the Bronx.

What is the Housing Preservation program?

RTNYC’s Housing Preservation program supports eligible New Yorkers in improving the safety and health of their homes through three initiatives:

Critical Home Repair provides no-cost major repairs to homeowners to maintain the integrity of their homes. Common repairs include roofing, plumbing, siding, flooring, and windows.
Accessibility Modifications help adapt the homes of New Yorkers living with different abilities so they may remain in their homes or return from institutional care. Typical modifications include wheelchair ramps and lifts, stair glides, handrails, grab bars, and accessible bathrooms.

Rebuilding the Bronx

Rebuilding Together NYC is partner with News12 The Bronx and New York State’s Targeted Home Improvement Program to bring to you our newest initiative, Rebuilding the Bronx! Through a $5 million grant we are looking to expand our program to low and moderate income Bronx homeowners in targeted zip codes in need of critical home repairs and accessibility modifications.
