What is the Workforce Development program?

Rebuilding Together NYC’s Workforce Development Program’s “Careers in Construction” is a comprehensive six-week pre-apprenticeship program that provides training and certifications to NYC residents seeking careers in the construction industry.

These careers provide a structured pathway into the middle class along with economic independence.

Graduates compete for skilled trade careers.

Key certifications include OSHA-30, Site Safety Training (2-hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness and 8-hour Fall Protection), Flaggers Safety Training, and Home Builders Institute Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training.

“I love my job and the union brotherhood. I really appreciate Rebuilding Together assisting me with the opportunity of a lifetime.”
