Step 1: Complete the Application

All candidates must first submit an application to be considered for the Careers in Construction Program.

Step 2: Attend an Info Session

After submitting your application, you are required to attend one info session before moving on to the interview process. Info sessions are held twice a month.

⚠️ Please note: Candidates who do not complete both the application and an info session will not move forward to the interview stage.

What is the Careers in Construction program?

Rebuilding Together NYC’s Workforce Development Program’s “Careers in Construction” is a comprehensive six-week pre-apprenticeship program that provides training and certifications to NYC residents seeking careers in the construction industry.

These careers provide a structured pathway into the middle class along with economic independence.

Graduates compete for skilled trade careers.

Key certifications include OSHA-30, Site Safety Training (2-hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness and 8-hour Fall Protection), Flaggers Safety Training, and Home Builders Institute Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training.
